Sometines ...sorrow ........ in memory of Luis Nabion

In Memory of Luis Santo Nabion

The older boys dug the grave
Inside the grave  a small cave is dugout, there, the body is placed there, and the small cave is sealed with a board and leaves, this is done to prevent the dirt that fills the grave from falling on top of the body.

Tia Misa our oldest female worker carries the body to the burial site.

Dr. Izabel Johanning Mora our director spoke at the funeral
Sadjo and Joao carefully placed the body inside the dugout cave

A board and leaves sealed the area where the body was placed
Children, friends, realtives, and missionaries at the graveside

Funerals are never easy, everyone here feels the loss, sorrow fills our heart but we do not grieve as if we had no hope, we know we will see each other again, and one more time we will rejoice in the presence of our Lord .
Generally when a child dies the family is given an option to take the body home or to have the funeral here, many families choose to bury the child here at Casa Emanuel. Some children have died throughout the years, it is never easy, in their honor I also wanted to share with you, our burial customs and process.
